OEM starts with requirement review
The first step of OEM production is clarifying product requirements: hat type (hat body or finished hat), target material, head size and brim dimensions, color direction, estimated quantity, logo and packaging requirements, target market and expected delivery date. A clear requirement document speeds up sampling and quotation.
Sampling stage: confirm every detail
After receiving requirements, the factory produces an initial sample for review. The sampling stage confirms: whether crown shape and dimensions are accurate, whether material and color meet expectations, whether logo placement and craft are satisfactory, and whether hat bands, sweatbands and accessories are in place. Each revision produces a new sample until the client approves the final one. The approved sample becomes the bulk production standard.
Bulk production: execute per approved sample
After sample approval, bulk production begins. The process includes: raw material sourcing and inspection, hat body weaving or pressing, blocking and finishing, hat band and logo attachment, sweatband and label sewing. Each step follows the approved sample standard. Mid-production inspections are available.
Quality inspection, packaging and shipping
After production, quality inspection covers: visual check (weave consistency, color uniformity), dimension measurement (head size, brim width, crown height), and accessory check (logo, hat band, sweatband). After passing inspection, hats are packed per the confirmed packaging plan — bagged, boxed and cartoned — then loaded into containers for shipment.
